svn/wrk/57ec4c52-3901-0010-b885-8b0c16165304/trunk/src/leidisfi/build/test2.txt': 500 Internal Server Error ( at org.svn.connector.svnkit.
I can’t explain why this happened because in my several-year-long history with Subversion, I’ve never experienced this issue once.
Subverion 1.7 stores this stuff in the working copy root only (for externals, it stores it in the root of an external working copy too).
It will remove the cached information about the problem directory from the working copy "cash-hash", and then restore it again with the actual information from the repository. here's how we check out a second copy of the relevant directory, and swap it in.
We get tons of strange error messages where we cannot identify the origin. It takes about a minute to commit one single file (if it succeeds at all), while it takes about 1 second in tortoise SVN.
We have the problems with both, Windows and Linux Subversive, and with the SVNKit 1.7.4, 1.7.5 and even older ones compatible to SVN 1.6.
As such, it is very important for SVN to know when a file changes.
SVN stores information about every change made to files under its control locally in plain text files inside hidden directories.
Do you have any suggestions how to debug this further? The result is something like:commit -m "" /home/moovida/rcpdevelopment/WORKSPACES/jgrassudig33workspace/eu.hydrologis.jgrass.charting.jfreechart.libs/META-INF/MANIFEST. svn: Commit failed (details follow): svn: Commit failed (details follow):svn: Checksum mismatch for '/home/moovida/rcpdevelopment/WORKSPACES/jgrassudig33workspace/eu.hydrologis.jgrass.charting.jfreechart.libs/META-INF/MANIFEST. MF Sending /home/moovida/rcpdevelopment/WORKSPACES/jgrassudig33workspace/eu.hydrologis.jgrass.charting.jfreechart.libs/META-INF/MANIFEST. MF'; expected: 'e59ba98152ab43ed640cdf076b0cdc51', actual: '0fad1171d44dba8be24547671ef6b510'Well, after trying to replace the local file with the remote one a couple of times:revert -N /home/moovida/rcpdevelopment/WORKSPACES/jgrassudig33workspace/eu.hydrologis.jgrass.charting.jfreechart.libs/META-INF/MANIFEST. The real problem is in those nice hidden svn-something files in every folder. So the deal is to remove the folder containing the corrupted file and update again. At what log files can we look (there is nothing interesting in the Server logs). If we get the error messages, usually the commits have been succesful, but Subversive does not recognize the success.
