They'll either get majorly overprotective, or they'll try to embarrass you every chance they get. There's no pressure to come up with a genius promposal.
I don't expect to be together forever and I don't expect a serous relationship right off the bat but it would be nice to just have somebody who just liked me for me.... I too wanted a relationship in high school that was "meaningful".
My suggestion to you is to start to love yourself first. Looking back at my youth, I never had a boyfriend in high school.
That’s not exactly helpful, what with your already stressful life. The high-school dating pool contains a finite amount of legit people.
You and your friends are probably all after the same person — that one who’s always doing group projects with you in honors classes. The weekly voyage to tourneys in foreign suburbs holds limitless possibilities as to the new and exciting people you’ll meet.
